Alpine Blossom Festival

Join us for this mid-summer delight, when the alpine wildflowers are at the height of their bloom on Tod Mountain! Take a scenic ride on the Sunburst chairlift for access to hiking and mountain biking trails.

In the village you'll find a host of FREE activities, entertainers, live music, and more.

Reach the Peak - Tod Mountain Summit Hike: 9:30am to 4:00pm 
Join Nancy Greene and the coveted list of “summiteers” that have reached the peak of Mt. Tod, on our seventh annual hike! It is a fun and enjoyable hike suitable for all ages where participants can travel at their own pace.

Alpine Yoga: 10:00am and 2:00pm 
Immerse yourself in nature and recharge with an outdoor yoga session surrounded by the stunning alpine beauty of Sun Peaks.

CFMA and WCMA nominated The Oot n’ Oots make kids music that is, to quote Jerry Garcia, not for kids only. Drawing on diverse influences from the history of rock n’ roll, this is a band with chops, soul, and swagger. Their original songs are wildly imaginative, brimming with humour and inspiration. Truly entertainers for the whole family, The Oot n' Oots create a feeling of community, joy, and understanding through their free-spirited art.

Live Music: The Fugitives: 6:00pm to 7:30pm - Clock Tower Stage
The Fugitives, established in 2007, have released four records, which have been nominated for multiple Canadian Folk Music Awards and a Western Canadian Music Award. Their previous album, Everything Will Happen, spent ten weeks on the top ten Canadian folk charts, and earned them a support slot across Western Canada with Buffy Sainte-Marie and an appearance at UK’s Glastonbury Festival. They've earned a reputation for unforgettable live shows, brimming with complex harmonies, infectious storytelling and top-notch musicianship.

Experience the very best our alpine playground has to offer, from panoramic views and vivid wildflowers to artifacts of days past and the rich history behind them!

Sun Peaks Fire Rescue: 10:00am to 2:00pm - Lower Village
Stop by and have a chat with a few of Sun Peaks Firefighters. Check out the fire truck and learn about fire safety.
