Elli Extravaganza 2013

5:30pm Twoonie Race - Gather at the bottom of the platter lift
Side by side dual slalom format – head-to-head racing – Challenge your friends and family members to a race for bragging rights
Bring lots of twoonies for racing and hot chocolate
Race as many times as you would like

6:30pm Pasta Buffet Dinner – $20 – Gather at Bento’s
3 kinds of pasta, 3 different sauces, salad, garlic bread, dessert

7:30pm Silent Auction featuring raffle-style bidding – bring twoonies for tickets
Live Auction featuring an instant wine cellar
Instant wine cellar
Bring a $15-$20 bottle of your favourite wine to donate or exchange for an equivalent value in raffle tickets
Labels provided for you to label your bottle as “donated by___”
All donated wine will be auctioned off in one lot as an instant wine cellar

Elli Terwiel, a slalom specialist from Sun Peaks, BC, recorded her first World Cup points last season with a 23rd-place finish in Courchevel, France. As the 2012 Nor-Am Cup overall slalom champion, Terwiel thus secured a World Cup spot for Canada for the 2012-13 season. A full-time civil engineering student at the University of Vermont, Terwiel achieved Double All-American Status and was part of UVM’s NCAA Championship-winning team.
