Debbie's Bio“Painting has been a passion for me since childhood. I love the whole process of painting, from the challenge of coming up with a good composition to mixing and manipulating paint on the canvas. Painting for me starts with seeing an image that moves me for whatever reason, example: light, design, contrast, or the story element in what I see. It starts there and grows till I have to paint it.”
Debbie is a self-taught artist and has been painting professionally for the past 18 years. Teaching and sharing her passion to paint with students is a part of her career that she really enjoys. Her works can be viewed at www.tnsc.ca/debbiemilner and is sold through Hampton Gallery in Kamloops, Lloyd Gallery in Penticton, and Jenkins Showler Gallery in Surrey.
