Heartland Country Festival, originally scheduled for August 7–8, 2026, will not proceed on its original dates. We are working to reschedule the festival, and will share the new dates as soon as arrangements are finalized.
This was not a decision made lightly. Major events require support from many regional services and resources, and moving the festival helps reduce additional pressure and provides greater certainty for everyone involved.
All existing Heartland tickets will automatically transfer to the new dates, with no action required. Ticket holders who are unable to attend the new dates may request a refund once dates are confirmed.
Sun Peaks Resort operations, including mountain biking, hiking and golfing remain fully operational, as well as the wider Sun Peaks village experience.
Guests with accommodation booked in Sun Peaks should contact their accommodation provider directly to discuss options for their reservation, subject to the provider’s policies and availability.
We understand this change may be disappointing and appreciate your flexibility and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you to Heartland Country Festival for a celebration of Canadian country music, mountain scenery, and Sun Peaks hospitality in Nature’s Heartland.
