Sun Peaks, BC - Bikers and hikers may have only two weeks left to get in their last runs and climbs of the summer but events will keep Canada’s Alpine Village bustling throughout September. New events spanning the spectrum from sports adventure to lifestyle and entertainment will take place giving guests new reasons to visit Sun Peaks in the fall.
Barbeque and beer lovers can take in the Tod Mountain 50th Anniversary Reunion Finale BBQ (September 8) and the Sun Peaks Oktoberfest (September 29). Or those seeking an outdoors challenge can participate in the North Face Dirty Feet Mountain Run (September 8) or the BC Masters Hill Climb (September 23).
And kicking off the month of September is the Matthew Good Solo Acoustic Free Outdoor Concert event!
With rooms starting at just $89 a night both the man and the woman of the house can take a weekend away enjoying the Classic Car Gathering (September 21 to 23) or Women’s Wellness Weekend (September 14 to 16).
The Sun Peaks Resort Golf Course will remain open to September 30 and guests can book fun fall activities like canoe and kayak rentals, Voyageur Canoe Tours, stand up paddle boarding, photo shoots and geocaching (weather permitting).
