Mother Nature can be a fickle mistress in the mountains and although evening temperatures have already begun plunging below 0°C, the days remain relatively warm and we enjoy heaps of bluebird skies through the fall.
Thanks to blue skies and warmer daytime temps our full 18-holes are still open for play with limited services:
18-Hole Rate: $52 | 9-Hole Rate: $30
May 30, 2014: The Golf Course at Sun Peaks Resort is slated to open its back 9 holes bright and early tomorrow morning, Saturday May 31, after two weeks of hosting keen golfers on the front 9. The driving range will also open tomorrow for the summer season, so you can shake the rust off before your round, as well as the kiosk at hole #1 so you can stay 'hydrated' out there.
We've had some significant rain fall this spring albeit leaving the course a little wet, but the skies have finally opened and the sun is shining, and the forecast is looking great for this weekend!
The course has yet to see any carts this season, and our superintendent will make the call regarding carts first thing tomorrow morning. For the latest course details, including the verdict on carts, as well as for tee times please call the Pro Shop at 250.578.5431.
We got out for a few photos this afternoon with our resident Golf Pro, Jeff Cusick, to smash some balls and show you just how lush the course is looking:
