Synopsis: The upper ridge which brought a very mild airmass into southern BC yesterday will bring sunny breaks today with the dry and very mild conditions continuing. Later in the day an upper low approaching the South Coast will spread clouds and scattered showers over the resort tonight. As the low moves into the BC interior periods of rain are expected to develop by Thursday morning. The rain will gradually turn to snow at upper elevations on Thursday as cooler air associated with the upper low moves into the area. Wind will be light from the S to SE today then become moderate and gusty from the SW on Thursday.
Thursday to Saturday: On Friday a cooler unstable airmass will bring mainly cloudy skies and a few flurries or lower elevation showers. Partly cloudy drier and milder conditions are expected again for the weekend.
