Winter at Sun Peaks is a magical experience, offering something for everyone. As Canada's second-largest ski area, Sun Peaks boasts over 4,270 acres of skiable terrain with a variety of runs for all skill levels.

But skiing and snowboarding are just the beginning. Off the slopes, visitors can enjoy snowshoeing through scenic trails, explore the wilderness on a snowmobile tour, or glide on the covered outdoor ice rink. For a more relaxed adventure, try a horse-drawn sleigh ride or indulge in an alpine fondue followed by a starlight descent. Sun Peaks offers an unforgettable winter escape.

One Winter. So Many Experiences.

One Winter captures the ebbs and flows of the resort experience from November 2023 to April 2024, to help you find the perfect vibe for your next visit. And to serve as a reminder that every day is a good day, when you're in the mountains. So when's the best time to visit this winter? Any time you can.

Canada's Second Largest Ski Area

4,270 acres of skiable terrain is spread across three peaks known as Tod Mountain, Sundance Mountain, and Mount Morrisey—Sun Peaks offers a winter playground with endless possibilities. Receiving an average 6 metres of snow annually, our slopes are renowned for the light, dry powder that Interior British Columbia is famous for. Each mountain is easily accessible from the central Sun Peaks village, so you can ride all three in the same day or stick to the area that you love most.
