Open Air Wildflower Workshops

Register for one of two sessions with local Artist Beverly Muldoon and Photographer Bill Fell up in Sun Peaks breathtaking alpine to experience and capture the beauty of its' wildflowers!

Wildflower Photography with Bill Fell

Join Bill for a guided alpine walk and open air workshop on wildflower photography. Session topics include tuning your camera's exposure, depth of field, contrast and composition techniques. No previous experience necessary.
Equipment Required:
A digital camera that can be operated in the manual mode and a tripod are recommended

Wildflower and Alpine Sketching with Beverly Muldoon

Beverly aims that this to be a fun session for all levels, from beginner to advanced artists.  
Participants will find a nice spot where they can set up and each person pick a subject or scene they would like
to work on.  Everyone will probably, but not necessarily, be drawing or painting something different.
Beverly will be pleased to offer assistance to anyone who would like help. The group will most likely go to several locations depending on what the group would like to do.
Suggested supplies for sketching:
Pencils -  graphite, coloured, watercolour or mechanical      
Pencil sharpener, eraser
Pens, pastels or charcoal
Sketchbook / journal

If you wish to paint:
Watercolour paintbox or tubes / acrylic paints
Brushes / palette
Water container / water brush
Bottle of water
Empty bottle for dirty water
Paper towels or rags

Cost
Members: Free  
Non members: $20.00 (cash only, payable at event) 

Registration and Cancellation
To register or request more information please send and email to hiartzonesunpeaks@gmail.com including your name, which session you wish to join, and if you are an Art Zone member or not. 
Please note that spaces are limited (10 participants per session). Registrants will be informed via email whether they have a place in the session or if they have been wait listed. 
As spaces are limited, it is important that all registrants who for any reason cannot participate notify Art Zone at as soon as possible so that the space may be filled.
