Brendan Howey. Jesse Munden. Strangers who clicked instantly on the trails of Sun Peaks Bike Park. Despite an age gap of over a decade between the duo, the Commencal Canada riders share a style that's timeless.
Together, these two make perfect sense. A trailblazer makes way for the next wave. The next wave builds on the legacy of the trailblazer.

2024 marks the 25th anniversary of Sun Peaks Bike Park. While raw singletrack remains at the core of our riding experience and we embrace the rowdiness that draws in the pros, like everyone in their mid 20's we have gone through a period of change. The Sun Peaks Bike Park is now a home for all riders, with the approach of 'come one, come all' as we continue our evolution with a focus on trails for every level of progression.
Located just 45 minutes from Kamloops, BC, Sun Peaks Bike Park offers two chairlifts, over 83km of trails, and 595m (1,952ft) of lift-access vertical across Tod and Sundance mountains. Trails range from machine-built freeride cruisers to fully pinned DH singletrack, plus a carpet lift-access Progression Park for the littlest of shredders. In 2024 we are proud to host the Canadian National DH Championships and Canadian National Enduro Championship.

Sun Peaks Bike Park is located in the Interior of British Columbia, just 45 minutes northeast of the mountain bike mecca of Kamloops. It's an easy road trip from Vancouver, Whistler, Calgary, or Seattle; you can also fly in via Kamloops airport, or travel by train, bus, or shuttle.
A Two-Wheeled Commute
Ditch the car, grab your bike. It’s easier to cruise around Sun Peaks on two wheels. Most accommodation options are so close to the lifts that you can pedal there in seconds – even on a DH bike!
Come One, Come All
Steep, raw singletrack has previously defined the Sun Peaks Bike Park, and legendary trails like Insanity One, Honey Drop, and Smitty’s Steeps remain ready to challenge even the strongest of riders. As we continue to evolve, we’re adding trails built for every level of progression, from beginners, to flow-seekers, to pros, and everyone in between. No matter who you are, your new favourite trail is waiting in Sun Peaks.
Mountain Biking 24/7
With one of the longest lift-accessed seasons in the BC interior, you can shred Bike Park laps daily from June 15 until September 30. Take advantage of those long summer days too, with our lifts spinning until 7:00pm for the majority of the season. Still not enough? Before the lifts open, or after they close, grab your trail bike and head to Mt. Morrisey where the Sun Peaks Recreational Trail Association’s new pedal-access network winds through the cedars.
Epic Lines Await, Except At The Lifts
Sun Peaks Bike Park is known for a combination of big terrain and minimal crowds. With the addition of Sundance Mountain, there's even more room to spread out this summer. Here we measure lift line waits in seconds, not minutes, meaning you’ll rack up the vert in no time.
