Halloween for Hunger is a new community initiative aimed at raising awareness, food, and funds for those in need in partnership with the Kamloops Food Bank.
During the month of October, you can make a difference by donating your non-perishable items at any of the convenient Kamloops Food Bank drop-off locations scattered throughout the Sun Peaks Village.
Plus, on Halloween night, get your candy and canned goods ready as teams of fang-tastic volunteers go door-to-door around the neighborhood to collect non-perishable goods in true Halloween fashion. Efforts focused on Burfield Drive, Fairways Drive, Mountain View Drive, The Cabins & Cottages, & Whitecroft.
These donations help support up to 7000 Individuals, 52 Community Agencies, and 9 Regional Food Banks in and around our area!
