Skier in pow with sun rise

Expand your Horizons at CANADA'S SECOND LARGEST SKI AREA

Boundless skiable terrain - 4,270 acres to be precise. Not one, not two, but three mountains to choose from. A village where you can ski between your lodging and the lifts, and to bars, restaurants, and local shops in-between. A choose-your-own adventure mashup of deep steeps, powder choked glades, and award-winning groomers. Room to let it rip on un-crowded runs, with no lift lines lurking at the bottom. And friendly locals who will take you straight to the good stuff.

It’s here. In Sun Peaks.

We see the eye rolls. “Suuure,” you’re thinking, “some magical mountain that has it all.” Well, just a few hours away in the interior of British Columbia is the mountain you’ve been dreaming of.

A Cruisey Commute
Driving in ski boots is tricky! Ditch the morning traffic for the convenience of our ski-through village. With plenty of ski-in, ski-out accommodation available, you can head out the door, click into your skis and glide down our main street to the lifts in seconds.

Lap Like A Local
If powder is calling then it’s hard to go past Gil’s. Nestled in behind Top of the World, this is a hike-in area of the resort where fresh flakes stack up sheltered from the wind and sun. With plenty of lines to choose from, drop into some of the deepest turns in Sun Peaks.

Not Too Cold. Not Too Hot. Juuust Right
With average winter temperatures hovering between -5ºC to -10ºC (23ºF to 14ºF) combined with the dry interior BC climate, our powder is featherlight, our groomers velvety smooth, and our conditions reliably rad all season long.

Less Hurt. More Vert
Sun Peaks is known for a combination of vast terrain and minimal crowds, with skiers and snowboarders spread out over three mountains. Here, lift line waits are measured in seconds, not minutes, and it's common to enjoy a run all to yourself.
