Weather and Webcams: What to Expect
Our webcams rely on a consistent power supply to operate, but this can sometimes be disrupted by extreme weather conditions. Additionally, rime (frost) buildup on the camera housing—similar to the frost that forms on trees—can impact the clarity of webcam images. During extreme weather conditions or periods of reduced visibility, webcams may go offline or be temporarily disabled.
