Despite being Canada’s second largest ski resort, Sun Peaks remains one of British Columbia’s best kept summer secrets: a big, glorious mountain playground with bright summer energy and laid-back locals. Whether your day begins on a chairlift and ends in a hot tub—or the other way around—we know how to amp up and chill out: Morning bike park laps and post-ride poolside naps. Alpine wildflower hikes and concerts and pints. Take it up a notch with a concert in BC’s largest covered outdoor live music venue.
Summer in the Sun Peaks mountains is animated by live music, multi-day festivals, and special events of all shapes and sizes that your whole crew will love. Get your groove on with some of Canada's top musicians playing on four different stages, including Canada's largest covered outdoor live music venue at the Sun Peaks Centre. Plan your visit around one of the flagship festivals like Speed Week or Paws in the Peaks, or line it up to watch your favourite athletes competing in our mountain playground. See the full summer events calendar.
Ride the chairlift up to experience 360-degree alpine views, and hiking trails that range from relaxing strolls to exhilarating summits.
