We're stoked to announce that Sundance and Morrisey opened for the season on Friday, November 30!
With 30 cm of new snow blanketing our three peaks so far this past week, winter has well and truly arrived in Sun Peaks. Following the fun of Opening Day (the earliest one in the province!) we were treated to several days of glorious sunshine in the alpine, before Mother Nature flipped the snow switch and delivered us some November powder laps.
With great skiing on Mt. Tod over the past week and a half we're excited to have terrain open on our other two mountains for you to enjoy.
Skinny ski season has also started, with much of the Nordic network now open and more trails on the way soon. As usual, open trails will be groomed and track set daily, providing an excellent skiing surface to explore the forests of our winter wonderland. Don't forget, all 2018/19 Sun Peaks Resort Alpine Season Passes also include a Nordic season pass. This is a fantastic opportunity to discover a new winter sport this year!
While day tickets are now regular price, you can save up to 40% on tickets all season long when you buy online in advance.
These openings are perfect timing for our annual High Five Day on Monday, December 3. On Monday you can score a full day alpine or Nordic lift ticket for just $5 plus a non-perishable food donation! All proceeds and food donations go to the Kamloops Food Bank, so you can feel good about scoring a sweet deal on your day of shredding.
