Dog Sled Tours
This unique experience is a must- do for a reason! Cozy up, lay back, and enjoy a scenic ride through snowy trees with stunning views of Mt. Tod. Mountain Man Dog Sled Adventures offers a variety of tours to choose from, so you can make the most out of this quintessential Canadian experience.
Guided Ice Fishing
Get out on the hard water and try your hand at something new with a guided ice fishing experience. Join up with a knowledgeable and local guide who will cover everything from door-to-door transportation, to a heated ice fishing tent, and all of the gear you’ll need. Snowshoe Tours
Join up with a seasoned guide for a full tour of the Sun Peaks snowshoe trails. A variety of options allow you to pick from a quick tour along Mount Morrisey or a full day tour out to McGillivray Lake, or take your pick between the delicious Snowshoe Fondue tour and Snowshoe & S’mores tour. Rentals and maps are also available for those wanting to wander out on their own.
Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides

Wind your way through the village and along the scenic valley trails in a horse drawn sleigh. As you’re aboard the sleigh, you’ll be able to warm up under blankets while enjoying the crisp winter air and beautiful views. This winter experience is fun for the whole family.
Free Family Activity Nights
New this year, Sun Peaks is offering free family-friendly indoor activity nights. The activities are conveniently located at the top of the village in the Sun Peaks Centre Great Hall. Kids can partake in mini golf, games and colouring to keep the fun going all evening long.
Shopping
Stroll through Sun Peaks’ pedestrian-only village and check out the variety of shops along the way. With 19 different shops to explore you’ll find everything from outdoor and lifestyle apparel, to locally made art and goodies, and even treats for the kids.
