Tod Mountain Café has a variety of fresh crepes on their menu. Sweet or savoury, these options are delicious anytime of day! They are also home to Tod Mountain Coffee Co. A morning visit is a great time to try a cup of their mountain-roasted goodness—all with Sun Peaks inspired names.
A morning workout really gets the blood flowing. Check out Black Beaver Athletic for some early AM options. Early risers can drop in to the Alpine Conditioning Class at 6:30am. Those that want a little more time to snooze should check out their Yoga and Open Gym sessions later in the day. A full daily schedule can be found on their website.
If breakfast is your favourite meal of the day, then don’t miss your opportunity to eat like a king at Mantle Restaurant. Their European-style breakfast buffet includes smoked salmon, meats and cheeses, along with shots of smoothies and a self-serve waffle station. The buffet also includes made-to-order eggs. Yum!

Our backyard lakes are known for the hard-fighting “Kamloops” rainbow trout. Start out early and be home in time to serve your catch for lunch.
Sun Peaks is home to an easy-marked Valley Trail system for those early morning walks with your favourite four-legged friend. Multiple entry points from the village will have you touring through the houses and winding along beside the creek. See viewpoints from the golf course and mountain views, all before easily returning back to where you started.
The early morning sun gives off that golden glow, and what better way to appreciate it than by playing a round of golf? Enjoy our peaceful course and cooler temperatures on hot summer days by teeing-off at 8:00am before June 29 and as early as 7:30am starting June 30. Our par 72, Graham Cooke designed course is centered along the valley floor amongst three surrounding mountains—the perfect place to take in the early hours.
