Dog & Kid-Friendly: Cahilty Creek Kitchen & Taproom

Their patio is located slopeside to the Gentle Giant ski run, which means there is plenty of green space to explore. Après Hot Spot: Masa's Bar + Grill or Bottoms Bar & Grill
Located at the base of the Sundance and Sunburst chairlifts, in the heart of the mountain biking and hiking action, you’ll find Masa’s and Bottoms. These two bars are locals’ favourites for a reason - they offer great atmosphere, good food and drinks, and are located just steps away from the lifts. Both Masa’s and Bottoms patios are worth stopping at on your next Sun Peaks trip.

If you’re looking for a quick stop on a day packed full of adventure, then you’re going to want to check out the Vertical Café patio. With beautiful flower baskets and seating overlooking Mt. Morrisey, this quaint patio is the perfect stop for a quick refuel. The café offers organic and locally-sourced food and drinks.

Take a quick walk up Sun Peaks’ pedestrian only village and you will find a couple of prime patios to spend some time on. Located at the bottom end of the village, Mantles Restaurant & Lounge overlooks the village and the mountains, making for the perfect spot to both people watch and take in the natural scenery. Heading further up the village will land you at the vibrant Morrisey’s Public House patio. In the summer month this patio often offers live music, the perfect accompaniment to their cozy and unique patio.
Off the Beaten Path: Magic Cattle Guard Diner
Located west of the village, nestled at the base of the Morrisey chairlift, you will find the Magic Cattle Guard Diner. This diner features picnic tables on their outdoor patio, offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. With a full bar and espresso drink options, brunch options, and a variety of classic diner options, the Magic Cattle Guard truly has something for everyone.
