5K Foam Fest
Saturday, June 8
Whether you feel like watching or participating, the 5K Foam Fest is a truly unique event, and it is making its return to Sun Peaks. This isn't your typical run, it's a FUNCORE run! With over 22 obstacles, including the world's largest inflatable waterslide, mud pits, and a staggering 2.5 million cubic feet of foam, it's an experience like no other. Open to participants aged 7 years and older, it's a day filled with awesome music, delicious food, local vendors, and a well-stocked beer garden to celebrate your success. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, this course is designed for you to enjoy at your own pace, with all obstacles being optional.

This is a perfect opportunity to bring local, sustainable food to your family's dinner table. Stroll through the village and browse products from local farmers, ranchers, and artisans. Embrace the spirit of Canada Day at Sun Peaks with a weekend packed full of free, family-friendly activities. From a vibrant kids' bike parade to creative face painting, mesmerizing bubble show, entertaining scavenger hunts, midway games and bounce houses, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Enjoy electrifying outdoor concerts on Saturday night featuring Lucky Monkey, and on Monday with Maritime Kitchen Party, followed by the dynamic beats of Five Alarm Funk, ensuring an unforgettable celebration for all.
First Fridays Live Music

Enjoy free outdoor live music and entertainment in Sun Peaks on the first Friday of the month – July through September! You’ll also find artisan markets, and patio specials at restaurants and cafes throughout the village.

Sun Peaks inaugural Speed Week will showcase all things speed, including a Show n Shine with the Pharoah's Car Club, Dealer Demo, Stand-up Paddle Board racing lessons at Heffley Lake and Capture the Flag race to McGillivray Lake.
Retro Concert Weekend

Don’t miss out on the 13th annual retro concert weekend. From Fleetwood Mac to The Rolling Stones, free live retro bands will keep you dancing all weekend long. Performing outdoors throughout the village, you can keep enjoying restaurants, cafés patios and beer garden just steps from the concerts. Don’t forget your lawn chairs!
CREATE! ARTS & CRAFT FESTIVAL
SEPTEMBER 6–8
Hosted by ArtZone Sun Peaks , the 2nd Annual CREATE! Arts and Craft Festival is a vibrant celebration of diverse artistic expressions. From music to flower arranging, blacksmithing to kids' arts programming, to writing and literacy, this festival offers a rich tapestry of creative activities. Attendees can also participate in workshops including on-mountain sessions, enjoying a full weekend of entertainment.
The festival will showcase the artistry of culinary delights and craft beverages at various village restaurants and beyond, including ethnic street food at the Friday night market. Experience how craft food and beverages can be celebrated as art in their own right.
