We look forward to welcoming you to Sun Peaks this winter! Before planning your trip, check out this guide for everything you need to know. Sun Peaks continues to adhere to provincial guidelines put in place for COVID-19. We ask that you look for and follow all posted COVID-19 signage. Please remember to check the most up-to-date COVID-19 travel restrictions put in place by the provincial or federal government before travelling.
Book Lift Tickets in Advance
To help manage guest numbers, and ensure that new safety procedures are followed, there will be a limited number of lift tickets available for purchase each day. Tickets must be purchased online, in advance, to guarantee ski and snowboard access. Purchase tickets online here.
Once you arrive at Sun Peaks, there are a number of locations where you can pick up your ticket. The most efficient options are our ticket pick-up boxes; four contact-less ticket kiosks located slopeside at the Village Day Lodge. In addition to the kiosks, tickets can be picked up at the ticket windows at the Village Day Lodge (parking lot side), the Sun Peaks Nordic Centre at Orient, and the base of the Burfield and Morrisey chairlifts. A full list of COVID-19 safety practices is on our website, so you can familiarize yourself with protocols being implemented before you arrive.
We are pleased to announce that we will have a RFID system this winter. RFID technology will provide efficient, fast and easy access for all guests using embedded technology in passes at all mountain lifts. At the same time, frequent interactions with staff will be reduced helping to promote safety and physical distancing.

Pre-Book Accommodation
Accommodation partners in Sun Peaks are following the procedures outlined by the province of BC. These include the increased frequency of cleaning in key public spaces and leaving guest rooms idle between bookings, the removal of non-essential decorative items, and the implementation of more advanced cleaning practices.
To avoid disappointment, please be sure to book your accommodation in advance. There are a number of excellent accommodation deals this winter which can be found here. Lodging can also be booked on our website here. Please check with your hotel for specific instructions on check-in procedures, details about your stay, as well as cancellation and refund policies.
Pre-Book Winter Activities
Winter activities may look a little bit different this year, however, many are still open for the season. Pre-booking activities is highly recommended to both confirm your spot and to allow the activity provider to prepare for your arrival. Activities that are open this winter include snowshoeing, ice fishing, dog sledding, Nordic skiing, fat biking, and more! You can find current deals for winter activities here. Sun Peaks’ many dining establishments are open and ready to serve you! Please note that businesses are operating with limited hours and menus, reduced capacity, and other additional safety procedures in place. Consider making advanced dining reservations.

Note Limited Capacity at Events
Due to current regulations from health authorities, we have adjusted our event calendar for the winter. Please read our COVID-19 safety information posted at the events, follow physical distancing measures and any additional directions from on-site staff.
