The winter holiday season in Kamloops and Sun Peaks presents festive family and community events throughout the whole month of December—both right in the city, and a short drive into the mountains.
Here you’ll find some of the snazziest events of the holiday season, so you can get cozy regardless of where your home-base is for Christmas and New Year’s. This year’s festive event lineup promises something for everyone to dive into the holiday spirit—with local artisan markets, photo ops and ski runs with Santa, holiday meals out on the town, parties ringing in the new year, and so much more!

There must be a direct flight from the North Pole to Kamloops this season, because Santa is making appearances here, there, and everywhere! From sharing a hot chocolate, to skiing and tobogganing with him—there are plenty of chances to meet the big guy in red!
