Sun Peaks is excited to announce Canadian eclectic rock group Big Sugar will headline the Canada Day weekend celebration this year with a free concert.

Big Sugar has multiple platinum albums and JUNO nominations to their name. Their popular catalogue of hits includes their signature song "Turn the Lights On", and other popular titles "If I Had My Way","Diggin a Hole" and "The Scene", which reached #1 on Canada's Alternative Chart.  

Last year, an estimated 7,000 attendees pulled up a lawn chair for our free Canada Day concert. This year, we anticipate just as many concert-goers will be dancing slopeside, as our events team continues to build out an activity-filled weekend for the entire family. 

Big Sugar is set to perform on Saturday, June 30 slopeside at The Annex.
