The grooming status information below is updated in real-time as the grooming team works on the trails overnight. A "Groomed with Fresh" status indicates that the trail has received 5+ cm of fresh snowfall since it was last groomed.
Sun Peaks also updates trail status throughout daily operating hours.
Grooming PDF: Our Daily Grooming PDF is generated manually once per day, around 7:00am. While we aim to capture all groomed trails, some may be missed due to the timing of the document's release. Please refer to the website list below and on-mountain grooming board for real-time, up-to-date status.
You may encounter wildlife on Nordic and Backcountry trails at any time. Please ski in pairs.
The lift-accessed Holy Cow trail features several significant downhill sections and is best suited to confident intermediate or advanced Nordic skiers. Guests should be comfortable on intermediate trails throughout the rest of the Sun Peaks network before attempting Holy Cow.
Backcountry trails are neither groomed nor patrolled, and are not recommended for those new to the trail system or new to Nordic skiing. They are operated in conjunction with the Province of BC and the Kamloops Outdoor Club.
