Master Development Plan

Ecosign, in conjunction with architect Mory Bergmeyer, developed the Sun Peaks Master Plan and designed the "look" of the resort, which reflects traditional alpine villages of Central Europe.

The village’s architecture incorporates gabled rooflines, colourful façades, a variety of intriguing window treatments, and ornate signage. Covered pedestrian walkways known as "arcades" are also incorporated into the design of village buildings. Decks and balconies provide useable outdoor space and add interest to the buildings when viewed from the village street. Parking garages at Sun Peaks Resort are conveniently located underground, to preserve the pedestrian character of the village.
