ArtZone Sun Peaks is proud to present the Inktense Pencils and Blocks 2 day workshop with Janet Scruggs.
Using Inktense pencil crayons and blocks are a unique way to create art. This ink media becomes permanent once it's been wet and has dried. Additions can be made without dissolving lower layers! Painting (both wet and dry), stencilling, and even tie dye, are some of the ways they can be used on fabric. Participants will get to see how they perform dry on dry, dry on wet, wet on wet and wet on dry on both paper and fabric. Using freezer paper masks, stencils, grating, pre-printed and pre-stitched samples techniques will be explored in addition to more! The vibrancy and versatility of Inktense media will make you a fan!
Janet Scruggs is a textile artist based in Kamloops, BC. Exhibiting locally, nationally and internationally, she has won several awards for her artwork.
