Join Colour Drop Design for a 2 hour water marbling workshop at Sun Peaks to create a silk scarf with the magic of water marbling! We bring the beautiful, ancient art of water marbling to the 21st century by inviting you to be the artist.

Jeremy Ryan
Jeremy started playing in 2021 because of covid.  Teaching himself to play was a great way to deal with isolation and stress during the pandemic.  I play a variety of musical genres (pop,  Latin,  afro fusion, blues,  jazz, country and House). Playing with the actual recordings of other artists allows my listeners to sing along and dance during my performances. I enjoy the interactions I get with people by connecting thru music. Music is the language you don't have to be able to speak to be able to understand.

Flower Arranging Demonstration & Still Life Painting
Join us for a delightful afternoon of creativity. Immerse yourself in the art of flower arranging as the talented team from Happi Flower Project creates a stunning, unique floral display.

After the demonstration, the floral arrangement will be available as a centerpiece for a still life painting session. Bring your own chairs, easels, and painting supplies, and enjoy an inspiring afternoon painting outdoors on the lush grass near the Sun Peaks Playground. Whether you're an experienced artist or simply looking for a relaxing day in nature, this event is the perfect way to celebrate the beauty of flowers and art.

Youth 7+ who have an interest in expanding their skills in painting can join local artist Lorel Sternig for this Acrylic Painting Workshop. Lorel will lead a fun class where kids will come away with an original piece of art and memory of Sun Peaks in summer. This is an instructional workshop. All supplies are included.

Join us for a 2hr cartoon workshop where we will focus on the basics of good character design. We'll cover using body shapes, facial features, poses, clothing and props to create different characters. And hey, if you have some characters you've created, bring them along. If not no worries, we'll get you started!  This class is for kids 10yrs and up. Materials will be provided. Maximum of 16 students.

Jon Treichel 
on started his professional music career in Vancouver in the late eighties and has been performing around the southern interior ever since. Jon has written, recorded and performed with a wide number of acts from diverse musical styles including Darby Mills and Henry Small, as well as performing with the Kamloops Symphony.
