Full Day Power Outage

Please be advised that on October 6, BC Hydro will conduct a planned power outage affecting the North Thompson Valley, including Sun Peaks Resort. The outage is scheduled to occur from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

During this period, power will be maintained through generators for Sun Peaks Resort operated food and beverage outlets, which will continue their operations unaffected. This includes Masa’s Bar + Grill, Café Soleil, Mantles Restaurant & Lounge, and Morrisey’s Public House. SPR LLP operated retail and rental outlets will be closed. Independent owner/operator businesses in Sun Peaks that will be open include Cahilty Creek Kitchen & Taproom and Flight Deck Cannabis Co.

The Sun Peaks Grand Hotel will remain open throughout the outage. For details on how this will affect hotel operations, please click here.

Guest Services will be available via phone and email, although the office will be closed to in-person visits.
