Employee Housing

For employees in need of housing, accommodations are available through Sun Peaks Resort LLP, property managers, and home owners.

Winter is the busiest time at the resort, so potential applicants are strongly urged to begin their accommodation search prior to October to ensure housing is secured for the upcoming season. This site is an excellent source for accommodations, but staff are encouraged to make the trip to the resort prior to the season and check out the many information boards and ask around.

Sun Peaks Resort LLP Staff Housing

Staff housing is only available to Sun Peaks Resort LLP staff. Once you are hired please let your manager know if you are interested in living at staff accommodations, and they will forward you the application process.

Black Bear Lodge

Black Bear Lodge is a shared dormitory building. Units on both floors include a kitchen, a bathroom, and two single beds. Each unit has a fridge, built-in hot plate, counter-top appliances, dishes, glassware and silverware. Each unit also comes furnished with a dresser and nightstand for each tenant and a kitchen table. Tenants are responsible for arranging their own bed and bathroom linens (bedding and towel package available for purchase). Wi-Fi service is included in this building.

The Burfield

The Burfield is a shared dormitory building. There are three types of units. The three-bedroom micro unit features three bedrooms each with a bunk bed, a single three-piece bathroom (walk in shower) and a fully stocked kitchenette. The two-bedroom micro unit features two bedrooms each with a bunk bed, a single three-piece bathroom (walk in shower) and a fully stocked kitchenette and small dining area. A twin unit with kitchenette is equipped with a twin over twin bunk bed, a separate three-piece bathroom (walk in shower) and a fully stocked kitchenette. Each unit has a small fridge, built-in hot plate, counter-top appliances, dishes, glassware and silverware. Bedding is provided. Wi-Fi service is included in this building.

Little Shuswap Lodge

Little Shuswap Lodge is a shared staff accommodation building. Each unit has four bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a common area. In each unit we provide a full size fridge, a ceramic top stove, countertop appliances, dishes, glassware and silverware. The common area in each unit comes furnished with a couch, coffee and end tables, and a kitchen table with chairs. Within each bedroom there is a single bed, dresser, night stand, and lamp. Tenants are responsible for arranging their own bed and bathroom linens (bedding and towel package available for purchase). Wi-Fi service is included in this building.
